Step 1

Open Eclipse.

Step 2

Navigate to Help -> Software Updates -> Find and Install.

Step 3

If this is your first time installing the Sinumerik editor, please select "Search for new features to install" otherwise, select "Search for updates of the currently installed features". When you have made your selection, click Next.

Step 4

Click on "New Remote Site"

Enter the following information into the window that pops up:

Click Ok and you will be returned to the previous screen. Comparatio USA, LLC should now show up in the list of sites to include in search. Make sure Comparatio USA, LLC has a check mark next to it, then click Finish.

Step 5

You should see a screen pop up that looks something like this:

Make sure there is a check mark next to SINUMERIK Editor, then click Next. You will see a few screens dealing with license agreements and installation paths. Please read through them and make your selections. Eventually, you will reach a screen that look like this:

Make sure you select Install rather than Install All. Selecting Install All may install other unsigned features which could pose a security risk.

After clicking Install, you will be asked whether you want to restart Eclipse. Upon restart, Comparatio's Sinumerik editor will be installed and any SINUMERIK file opened in Eclipse will now be supported.

Step 6

You're finished! Enjoy Comparatio's Sinumerik editor.
