Jan Poehland
President
With over two decades of software development experience, Jan Poehland is a seasoned expert. Originally from Germany, Jan pursued his studies in Chemnitz, Saxony, before setting his sights on the global stage. Today, he calls the Twin Cities, Minnesota, his home, where he leads Comparatio as its president.
Jan’s journey in software development has spanned various industries, allowing him to amass a broad spectrum of expertise in technologies such as Delphi, Java, SQL, many databases and more. He thrives on crafting custom software solutions that tackle unique challenges, making significant strides in complex database applications and frameworks through Flex technology.
Under Jan’s leadership, Comparatio has become synonymous with excellence in custom software development, specializing in business applications, EDI solutions, ERP add-ons, and mobile app development.
Chad Burnett
Chief Operations Officer
Chad Burnett serves as the Chief Operations Officer at Comparatio, where he has been a pivotal figure for over 8 years. With a strong background in EDI, software development, and operations management, Chad has significantly contributed to the company’s growth and operational excellence. His expertise spans across business software applications, EDI applications, custom software development, ERP add-ons, and mobile apps, making him a versatile leader in the tech space.
Chad’s leadership in the role of COO and his previous positions as EDI Support Manager and EDI Specialist have been instrumental in enhancing Comparatio’s service offerings and operational capabilities. His focus on custom software development, particularly in the realms of business applications and EDI, has helped Comparatio deliver high-quality, tailored solutions to its clients.
Mark Populorum
Sales Director
Mark Populorum is a seasoned Sales Director at Comparatio, bringing over two decades of experience in sales management, professional development, and coaching. With a BA in Political Science from DePauw University, Mark has honed his expertise in driving metric-based, long-term performance improvements within organizations. His career has been marked by significant achievements in sales and sales management training, particularly within the tech and software sectors.
